What is stereo?

There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

Tamon TS-808N

The Tamon TS-808N can truly make you feel like you are in a concert hall or disco. This 450W 3-way and  4-speaker system features a 1-1/2 inch aluminum ring horn tweeter, 4 inch twin midranges, 16 inch woofer and a double-port bass reflex cabinet. in addition, a 5-step LED power indicator and tw/mid breaker with tweeter level control will  bring you even more pleasure because  you can control and adjust this system to your own taste while you are listening to it.
Many years of speaker engineering experience have produced this unique TS-808N, the speaker system that you can enjoy fully with your eyes and ears.

Exclusive Aluminium Die-Cast Ring Horn Tweeter
Tamon's exclusive ring horn tweeter employs a 1-1/2 inch diameter aluminum alloy ring diaphragm.  Its  rigid construction and the specially selected materials contribute to improved efficiency and linearity all the way up to 40 kHz. Transient response is smooth and rapid, too, even at high input levels.

Twin Midgange
Non-pressed cone material, alumi -mylar dust cap and heat resistant voice coil contribute to more realistic middle frequency reproduction of vocals and instrument fundamentals. As most musical energy is in the middle frequencies, we have equipped the TS-808N with two 4-inch midrange units for broader and more powerful stereo reproduction.

LED Power Indicator TW/MID Breaker with Level Control
A 5-step LED power indicator shows you musical transient during performance through the cloth grille and is equipped  with a waring red Overload lamp. When extremely high signals are loaded onto the tweeter and midrange units, Tw/Mid breaker activates a red waring light and cuts off the excessive signals automatically. The breaker will be reset an dthe sound performance returns to normal when you turn down the amp volume.

Powerful 16-inch Woofer
This 16" large diameter woofer has a rib-reinforced black cone with urethane edge to provide maximum advantage for the twin ported bass reflex cabinet.
Because of the heat resistant brass bobbin and edgewise wound voice coil, this woofer unit can handle power up to 450 W (Peak) while maintaining heavier bass sound reproduction.

Tamon has developed a 12dB/octave unit with strictly selected quaity electronic components that assure clear undistorted sound quality.
